Wishing you all a very Happy New Year with good health, good fortune and great contentment to you all.
May 2009 bring you fun, creativity in abundance, and lots of new crafting adventures!
Just for now, I will leave you with this.... it cracks me up every time I come across it:
Life should
not be a journey
to the grave
With intention of
arriving safely
In a pretty, and
well preserved body.
But
rather to skid
in broadside,
chocolate in one hand, martini in the other,
thoroughly
used up,
Totally worn out
and loudly proclaiming
WOW
WHAT A RIDE!
Have fun and happy crafting....

PS I'm hoping to post a few piccies of my new 'baby' in the next day or so.
Puts a new and rather decadent spin on 'Do not go gentle into that good night, rage, rage against the dying of the light.' Love it!
Happy New Year to you and your family Lynn.

Hi Lyn
This great - think it sums up how both I and a very dear friend of mine

Love these sentiments.
Is it o.k. to use these please - with an acknowledgement to you of course.
Happy New Year
Hi Syy, I wish I could lay claim to this piece but I can't. I don't know who the original author is. It's a piece I came across many years ago long before PC's and used in one of my art journals and I keep seeing it now around the internet but with no acknowledgement to the original author. If you would like to use it from my blog, please do. If anyone does know who pen'd the original, I'd love to know.
To all of you who've left such lovely comments... I thank each and every one of you. I hope that your year has started well and that it holds many wonderful things for you to enjoy!
Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog Lynn, much appreciated! Hope the back pain and sciatica ease off soon, know how you feel as I am a sufferer too!
